- The cartridges are certified according to the NIOSH 42 CFR 84 standard. The cartridges are only allowed to be used in conjunction with the Dr¤ger X-plore 3300 or 3500 Half-Face Respirator Masks or the Dr¤ger X-plore 5500 Full-Face Respirator Mask. As its a twin-filter system, you need 2 filters during use. The cartridges are positioned at the side of the mask which allows an excellent field of vision. They are inserted from above and guided down to the connection point - incorrect assembly is all but impossible.
